The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

The New Inn Coleford, near Crediton with 4 star AA rated bed and breakfast accommodation is steeped in local history. Back in the 15th century, Coleford was on the main highway from Cornwall to Devon and tradition relates that the New Inn provided respite for travelling Cistercian monks.

Nowadays you’ll be welcomed by ‘Captain’ our real talking Amazon blue parrot who has greeted guests from Exeter and beyond for over 27 years.
