The historic fishing village Padstow in north Cornwall is a Mecca for foodies and tourists alike, and the Golden Lion has a thriving food business throughout the day.

The London Inn in Padstow is a tiny locals pub in a very touristy town. Not quite on the waterfront, but only a minute's walk from it. The exterior is over run with hanging baskets in the summer (as you can see from the picture). Inside the walls are mock-nicotine, with pictures all over the place. I have known this pub for forty years and it hasn't changed at all, long may it continue. Dogs are offered a bowl of water along with their owners' beer.

The Cornish Arms is situated in the village of St Merryn, just outside Padstow on the beautiful North Cornwall coast.
Our new head chef at the Cornish, Luke Taylor, who has worked for us for over 9 years now, has settled in and the simple British pub menu is going down well with the locals and visitors.
