Name: Logan Rock Location: Penzance The Logan Rock Inn is situated in the hamlet of Treen in St. Levan close to the beaches of Porthcurno and Pednvounder and near to the coastal footpath. The pub takes its name from the famous Logan Rock , which is perched overlooking Porthcurno bay.
According to Cornish Folklore, Tin streamers of long ago brought their produce to this village to trade with Phoenician merchants who came to Penberth in their boats. Secrecy was observed, they were not allowed beyond the beach in case the source of the tin was discovered. Today Treen is better known as the village from which the footpath to the Logan Rock runs.
