 Email this pub The social hub of a tiny community not far from the coast, this delightful thatched inn has parts dating back to the 16th century, and beyond the neat little front garden the bar and restaurant are particularly attractive and inviting, with a log-burning stove in the winter months.

The inn has earned a well-deserved reputation for the quality of its cooking, and the regular menu, supplemented by daily specials, is served every session except Sunday evening. All the pub classics feature on the main menu _ including a selection of light bites .While the daily specials might include Garlic Mushrooms, fresh fish in our own beer batter, or calves' liver & bacon. Booking is recommended on Friday and Saturday evenings, but reservations are not taken for Sunday lunch, so arrive early.
