The new Walnut Tree is enjoying a fast growing reputation for quality food, ales, wine and service since re-opening its doors on 15th May after being completely rebuilt. Retaining all the character and qualities of a typical country pub, The Walnut Tree also offers unrivalled comfort inside, first class facilities for al- fresco drinking and dining, excellent disabled access and services and a fantastic children's play park which is guaranteed to keep the youngsters happy! The Walnut Tree opens Mon~Sat from 10 am serving freshly ground coffees and complementary papers, the full menu and specials board being served from 12 until 9pm every day. We serve a mix of traditional British favourites as well as dishes from around the world on our daily changing specials boards. If you like your puddings then here is somewhere you must try, as our landlady Sam uses her skills as a top patisserie chef to create and cook every dessert we sell. Our desserts are constantly changing so there will always be something to tempt those with a sweet tooth! We always have 4 cask ales on sale, some of which change weekly from breweries both local and national so if you like your beer from the cask then we'll always have something to suit.If wine's your tipple, then with over 20 on our list from around the globe there should be plenty to please. With our house wine starting at a very reasonable £9.95 a bottle you'll find good value for money too.
