This newly and fully refurbished freehouse provides a very high standard of comfort and quality.

Standing opposite Par Railway Station right on the edge of the charming village of Tywardreath, we are only 5 minutes away from the beautiful Par Sands and 4 miles from the famous Eden Project. Being centrally located and close to bus and rail links, we make an ideal base to explore the County of Cornwall.

The open plan bar area has slate floors and a large open fire. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and there are a number of real ales to select from in addition to a wide range of lagers, ciders spirits, wines and soft drinks
Our bar menu is served at both lunchtimes and in the evening. Favourites include our own homemade fisherman's pie, fresh local Cornish cod and homemade steak & Guinness pie.

We have a separate restaurant where you will find a relaxing area enhanced with pale stone walls and bleached wooden beams or you can dine in our conservatory, a spacious sunlit area with attractive oak dining tables and chairs.

Our restaurant menu typically features locally sourced steaks, a variety of fish dishes, vegetarian and children's options. There is also a wide selection of Chef's daily specials and homemade sweets (all serviced with Cornish clotted cream).

Our accommodation has been awarded the English Tourist Board 4 Red Diamond Award for excellence, of which we anticipate to gain 5 this year. All rooms have en-suite facilities with full size baths, television, radio, telephone, internet connection point and refreshment tray.
