 Email this pub For a really great value visit to the Thames Valley, there is no better location than the "Fox and Hounds Watlington". We are about 30 minutes from Oxford, Henley, Reading and High Wycombe and easily accessible from the M40.

The "Fox and Hounds at Watlington" is very much part of village life.

This area of countryside bounded by Oxford, Wallingford and Henley has plenty to offer the visitor.

We are also privileged to have the recently reintroduced "Red Kite" circling overhead on most days.

Just a mile from here is the Ridgeway Path, with the Fox and Hounds providing a welcome respite, even if not overnight.

There is also much here for the "railway enthusiast" with centres at "Didcot" and "Chinnor".

Local attractions include the "River and Rowing Museum at Henley" "Stonor Park and Greys Court" and the "Courthouse near Thame."
