Email this pub Situated in the unspoiled Valley of "Lanherne" lies the village of "St Mawgan" where you will find the 16th century pub, "the Falcon Inn".
Here we offer a warm and friendly atmosphere, coupled with a reputation for serving "good food" and wines, local "real ales" and 10 "malt whiskies".
We also offer award winning "gardens" with "children's indoor play area" - ideal for long, lazy lunchtimes, or, for the winter months, a roaring, "open fire" to sit and chat around.

A selection of local historical prints are displayed in the bright and cheerful dining/breakfast room which is "non-smoking".

The Falcon Inn is an ideal "get away from it all" retreat with no "juke box" or "games machines" to spoil the atmosphere.

If you fancy some activity the area has much to offer including "Lanhydrock House", "Trerice", "The Tate Gallery" at "St Ives" and the The "Eden Project" ( about 20 mins away)
We are also close to "Newquay airport". 4 "golf courses", "horse riding", "fishing", "surfing", "scuba diving" and plenty of walks including the "Coastal Path".
St. Mawgan itself provides a "Post Office" with general store, "Bonsai Nursery", 14th Century church, craft shop and "Antique" shop.
In the Summer you may be able to catch the local "cricket match" on the village green.

Directions:-

Take the St. Mawgan turning off the "A30" and the Newquay turning off the next roundabout.
200 yards past the petrol station take a right turn signposted Newquay Airport.
After approximately 2 miles take the first right turn down into the village. We are at the bottom of the hill on the right.
There is a "car park" behind the pub.

Please note that the inn is not normally manned between 3 - 6 pm or 3 - 7 pm on Sundays, during winter time so it would help if you could time your arrival around these hours
