 Email this pub The Bull Hotel is a "600 year old former "coaching inn" with tremendous atmosphere and is reputed to be haunted!
warm friendly welcome greets you when you visit our pub situated in the centre of Wargrave, a "picturesque riverside village".
The general decor affords a wealth of beams, cosy corners, amusing pictures and odd levels. We have two lounge bars, one of which has a large working inglenook fireplace providing a huge crackling log fire during the winter months, and in addition to the bars there are also two non smoking dining areas.
After our recent refurbishment we are able to accommodate even more - an extension to the bar, eating and function facilities!
Outside there is a large attractive secluded walled garden, surrounded by well established borders and lawns that are split by a pathway running up the centre. Tables are situated around the garden where drinks and bar snacks can be enjoyed during the summer months - weather permitting!
We have a deserved excellent reputation for serious food, for the beer lovers we serve fine Brakspear Ales, boast a wide ranging selection of quality wines, plus a good mix of spirits and malt whiskies.
