The pub is set in delightful rural surroundings with magnificent views of the Lancashire Moors. The pub is reputed to be the second oldest working tavern in the UK. The Black Horse is well known for it's excellent food and well kept ales and is well worth a visit, you may even see the resident ghost on one of it's frequent manifestations!
