Email this pub Recently re-opened freehouse and restaurant in June 2010, the building dates from the 1650's and has been updated while leaving the old charm and character. 4 real ales are on offer, with Adnams Best and Woodefords Wherry always on tap, with one of the others always from a local micro brewery such as Grain or Earl Soham. Cider is from Aspall, based in the next village, and there is a full range of lagers and soft drinks. We have 8 house wines to choose from and an ever changing wine list chosen from a local supplier. Food again is sourced locally, with the menu changing with availability of the ingredients. All food is prepared inhouse and cooked to order, and we are well known for our range of puddings.
We are holding regular wine and food tasting evenings as well as opening up a pudding club.
