Landlords Lowri Williams Perry Green Much Hadham SG10 6EF Hertfordshire UK Click to zoom Email this pub Originally built in the 19th century and part of The Henry Moore Foundation estate, The Hoops Inn is located in the pretty hamlet of Perry Green, Much Hadham, in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside. Although brimming with character, it’s the food that really sets The Hoops apart from its neighbours. The menu excels in delicious simple British dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients including freshly picked apples from the Estate orchard. The menu highlights include ‘all day and evening small plates’ such as potted shrimps with toasted Hoxton rye and British charcuterie with pickled cauliflower with more substantial mains featuring beer battered organic haddock with fat chips and tartare sauce and the much-requested Hoops Burger. If a drink is all you fancy, sit and the bar and sup on hearty local ciders and award-winning real ales or choose a wine from a concise list that includes some interesting British bins. Suffolk pork crackling with Bramley apple sauce, devilled whitebait and other classic bar snacks make for excellent accompaniments. |
