 Email this pub The Hanover Inn is a local fisherman's tavern offering an informal and friendly atmosphere sited in the heart of historic Old Harwich. The Hanover supports local darts, pool and cribbage league teams and hosts the 'Good Hope' R.A.O.B. Lodge (Monday evenings).

The Hanover is an ideal stopover for ferry and cruise passengers using Harwich International Port, providing comfortable accommodation, a selection of real ales and a rather special breakfast experience.

Small conferences (up to 25 candidates), workshops and meeting facilities can also be provided in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Explore the narrow streets and follow the Heritage Trail or take a conducted tour of the town to enjoy the carefully preserved and restored buildings that date back to the 15th century.

Drink in the history of the town - the naval background, the house of Christopher Jones - Master of the Mayflower, or visit one of the local museums.
