 Email this pub The Crown and Garter is a traditional 17th Century Inn near to Newbury and Hungerford in Berkshire offering freshly prepared food with a quality lunch time and evening menu.

The Crown and Garters ancient and unique charm can best be glimpsed in the bar area, the oldest part, which boasts a huge inglenook fireplace and criss-crossed beams and provides a fine selection of local and guest real ales, malt whiskies and good wines.

Accommodation at the Crown and Garter comprises of eight bedrooms which are all non smoking, quiet, very spacious with comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. The accommodation is all en-suite with power-showers and well equipped with TV and video, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers.
