 Email this pub The Church Tavern is a very modern spacious pub set in a quiet residential area. Backing onto the park and Alexander Sports Stadium, this pub offers quality food, drink and friendly service. Come and try our food in the large 200 seater restaurant from a varied menu to suit all ages and tastes. The Two for One deal lets you have a free main meal if you order for at least two people and purchase a main course at full price. Our excellent reputation for food has made the Church Tavern more a restaurant than a pub. We have full facilities for the disabled and children. Alongside the pub we have a Wacky Warehouse which is an indoor play building with games and equipment suitable for children up to 4ft 9ins tall. The older kids have their own outdoor play area which is very safe and enclosed. The Church Tavern is a great place to meet up with friends, enjoy a sociable drink or bring the whole family for a great time out. ATM cash machine on site. Fun Time indoor play area, great fun for all the children.
