Email this pub The Bullingdon, one of the oldest bars in Oxford, has taken on a modern cafe look to offer customers a lively, fun place to enjoy good drink and entertainment. The pub has, over recent years, expanded and now is also the home of one of the very few purpose built live music venues in Oxford, The Backroom. The Backroom, with its 280 capacity, bar and great new sound system is one of the best places to hear live music. Throughout the last few years, the Backroom has played host to such bands as, Toploader, JJ72, Twist, Dodgy, Rachel Stamp and David Gray through to retro stars like Paul Young and Los Pacominos, Hazel O'Connor, Geno Washington, The Selector, Sam Brown, The Blockheads and Hugh Cornwell (ex- Stranglers).
