my wife and I called on 28/09/2010 and had fish and chips.
these were the best fish and chips in scarborough and my pint of skipton brewery ale was as good as Ive had anywhere. - The New Inn The food here is fantastic and the staff 1st class. The sticky toffee puddings is a must. I can't wait for my next mouthful
- The Poltimore Arms This is a really friendly pub with great atmosphere and a wonderful log fire. The food was fab, really look forward to a retirn visit. Thank you
- The Champ just got back from appledore and this pub is a gem. john, libby and all their other staff could not have made us more welcome and comfortable. really nice bunch of locals too who are always up for a chat. cant wait to return

Great pub, good food, and the views were amazing.
Well worth a visit - very friendly staff - Bees In The Wall The Beer is exceptional hence their listing in The Good Beer Guide and The Good Pub Guide. Traditional Pub Food always good as well especially Fish & Chips on a Thursday.
- The Maypole Inn Had an excellent meal of home made faggotts, mash and mushy peas, follwed by a huge cheese board with all the trimmings along with two pints of farm house cider for less than 12. All very good home made food and very friendly service. Highly recommend yo
